Landscape Scale Conifer Removal and Bio-Char

The 106 “No Burn” process is the only one that works to mechanically restore forest health at altitudes above 8,000 feet. Our system is capable of clearing 80 to 100 acres per day without fire and with pinpoint accuracy leaving behind the landscape as planned, right down to the individual tree.

The aging trees, removed by the process are most frequently at the end of their oxygen/CO₂ exchange cycle.  These trees need not go to waste as decaying biomass in the field.  Modern technology allows us to convert this byproduct of the forest restoration process into a valuable commodity by converting it into bio-char. The uses of woody bio-char production can range from soil amendment and natural fertilizer to bio fuel and the basis for many building products including medicine.
